Sales/Marketing Manager
Location: Calgary, Alberta
About Us:
SES Inc., a software development company, headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, is preparing to launch our new capital cost-estimating software product. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Manager to lead our sales initiatives and marketing strategies. This individual will have a proactive entrepreneurial spirit and will see the opportunity that software applications can have in capital cost estimating. The candidate will play a pivotal role in proactively promoting and selling our software and services, marketing and seeking new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve business objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and networking.
- Propose and implement marketing initiatives and represent the company at client and industry events to promote our software and services.
- Update and maintain company website and marketing materials.
- Work closely with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation in design and implementation of cost estimating solutions.
- Prepare and present regular sales/forecast/market analysis reports to senior management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in or equivalent experience in Marketing or related field of study
- 5+ years of proven experience in business development/sales preferably in capital cost estimating.
- Engineering background will be an asset.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, both verbal and written, to convey technical and business concepts clearly and effectively.
